Is there a fee to join or list items?
Signing up and creating listings is completely free. We only charge a small Service Fee (Commission), which is deducted from the seller/owner's payout once a sale or rental is successfully completed. This fee helps us cover payment processing, platform development, and customer support.
How does the app handle Sales versus Rentals?
We handle these transactions differently to ensure fairness:
Sales (Purchases):
A one-time exchange of goods for money. The payment is held in escrow until the buyer confirms safe receipt of the item.
Rentals (Borrowing):
A temporary exchange. The rental fee and a security deposit are held in escrow. The fee is released to the owner after the rental ends, and the deposit is returned to the borrower once the item is confirmed to be undamaged.
How long does it take to get paid after a sale?
For sales, your payout is processed and released from escrow within 3-5 working days after the buyer marks the item as "Received" or after a pre-defined confirmation window has passed (usually 7 days after delivery).
What are the rules for setting a Security Deposit for rentals?
You (the owner) determine the security deposit amount. It should reasonably cover potential repair or replacement costs for the item. The deposit is automatically collected from the borrower and held in escrow. It is 100% refundable to the borrower if the item is returned on time and undamaged.
What if my rented item is damaged or never returned?
If the item is returned damaged, you must immediately open a Dispute Resolution case within the app. Our team will review the initial listing photos, the security deposit amount, and the damage evidence. The security deposit will be used to cover the damage. If the damage exceeds the deposit, we will guide you through the claims process.
Can I accept or decline rental bookings?
Yes. When a user sends a Booking Request for a rental, you have a set period (e.g., 24 hours) to review the borrower's profile and accept or decline the request before the hold on their payment expires.
